GOD.

There is one living and true God, revealed in nature as the Creator, Preserver, and Righteous Governor of the universe.

JESUS CHRIST.

He is God’s only begotten son and is God manifest in the flesh; in His divine nature truly God, in His human nature truly man.

 

THE BIBLE.

The Scriptures of both the Old and New Testaments given by inspiration of God and are our infallible rule of faith and practice.

 

THE HOLY SPIRIT.

All of the attributes of God are ascribed to the Holy Spirit by the Scriptures. It is He who convicts and convinces men of their sin. He also convinces man of that which is right

 

THE SINFULNESS OF MAN.

Man was created innocent, but by disobedience fell into a state of sin and condemnation.

 

SALVATION.

Man can receive pardon and forgiveness for his sins when he repents to God that he is a sinner, when in godly sorrow he turns from them and trusts in the work of Christ as redemption for his sin.

 

ELECTION.

God determined from the beginning to save ALL who should comply with the conditions of salvation.

 

FREEDOM OF THE WILL.

The human will is free and self-controlled, having power to yield to the influence of the truth and the Spirit, or to resist them and perish.

 

PERSERVERANCE.

All believers in Christ, who through grace persevere in holiness to the end of life, have promise of eternal salvation.

 

GOSPEL ORDINANCES.

BAPTISM by immersion of believers in water, the LORD’S SUPPER, and FEET WASHING, are the ordinances to be perpetuated according to the Gospel.

 

TITHING.

God commanded tithes and offerings in the Old Testament; Jesus Christ endorsed it in the Gospel (Matt. 23:23).
